Current events and Projects
  • As a core Red Cross initiative, our disaster relief efforts provide urgent humanitarian aid, emergency support, and long‑term recovery assistance to individuals, families, and local communities affected by natural disasters, crises, and unexpected emergencies. We strive to comfort those displaced by hardship, address critical survival needs, and guide vulnerable groups toward stability and healing after catastrophic events.

  • Rooted in longstanding Red Cross humanitarian commitment, this program delivers compassionate, tailored support to active‑duty service members, honorably discharged veterans, and military families. We recognize their sacrifice and dedication through heartfelt outreach, ongoing assistance to honor, uplift, and empower the military community near and far. Till today, 110 letters from students are delivered to the veterans and current armed force.

  • Guided by Red Cross expertise and public health standards, we develop and deliver comprehensive health, safety, and emergency preparedness courses for individual learners, student groups, workplaces, and local organizations. Our certified educational programs equip participants with lifesaving skills, practical emergency knowledge, and essential safety awareness to protect themselves and others within daily life and unexpected crisis situations.

  • Upholding the Red Cross’s lifesaving mission, we organize community blood donation drives, vital donor outreach, and public health initiatives to strengthen local medical resources. Through collaborative volunteer opportunities and awareness campaigns, we inspire students and community members to contribute to critical healthcare needs, support patient care, and save lives through selfless, tangible action.

  • As an extension of the American Red Cross’s global humanitarian mission, we deliver critical aid, sustainable support programs, and life-saving assistance to vulnerable communities around the world. We collaborate with Red Cross and Red Crescent societies internationally to address urgent needs—from disaster relief and food security to healthcare access and community resilience—ensuring compassion and support reach those facing hardship.

  • SRT volunteers work one-on-one with shelter residents affected by disaster to help them identify their existing resources, understand barriers to transition, and build an individualized action plan. The goal is simple but powerful: help residents create a roadmap back to stable, sustainable living as quickly as possible.

  • "Humanity thrives when we choose to lift others up through collective service and sincere empathy."
